There’s a new updated version of Mozilla Firefox. Version 6.0.
It’s highly recommended that you use the latest version.
Well, after Google Chrome came out, Firefox had a tough competition with Google’s web browser.
The main reason why Google Chrome won is because it’s a much faster browser. But in the security and privacy wise, it may not be true. That’s because Google tries to collect as much information about you as possible, to learn about what you surf in the internet, what your interests are by using all available methods to serve advertisement to you.
No matter what, using multiple browsers to surf the internet is the trend nowadays. People no longer use only one browser to surf the web. Although some might disagree, but there are many of us who use different browsers for different purposes.
For example, you might need to change your web proxy to surf a particular site and it’s not possible with that in Google Chrome because Google Chrome changes the proxy in Internet Explorer too and you are connected with only one proxy. In the other hand, with FoxyProxy, you can surf different websites with different sets of proxies.
Well, some of the reasons can be due to its plugins. Although more and more plugins are available for Google Chrome, some add-ons are not available for Google Chrome and is only available for Firefox.
It’s always good to use different browsers. For example, some sites only support Internet Explorer. Yup, don’t believe it?
It’s also good to use the In-Cognito or Private Browsing when you surf the internet. Companies nowadays use many different techniques to get as much information about your surfing habits. It’s not safe to leave tracks when you surf online.
